This is a typical picture of "Good" concrete that is the accepted normal porch look that most people have.    Upon a closer look you can see just how unsightly a normal concrete porch really is.   This porch required very little repair work but we are grinding forming marks to make it much cleaner looking.   We have done additional prep work and here we begin by troweling a brown skim coat to fill imperfections and give us a deep base color from which to work.

This is how a typical skim coat looks when you are half done. It is very quick to dry and looks different than wet. We then rub the overlaps and irregularities for a nice smooth appearance.   We are now spraying a brown primary texture color, we added chocolate highlights for depth and a rich look.   We are applying clear sealer to protect the new concrete from UV, Salt, Acids, Grease, Gasoline and other potential exposures.   We have finished we now let it cure and keep traffic off for a few days while all the colors blend together and we get harder than concrete.

This is a very common porch, stoop or patio application. There wasn't any additional decorative work making this application very economical as well. We didn't sacrifice durability or lasting beauty in this economical application. We gave them a clean, colorful porch that now accentuated the beauty and becomes the focal point of their primary entry. This process is available in any color and any combination to compliment the exterior of any building or structure. Decorative features such as perimeter bond coarses, random stones, brick, tile, ashlar stone, herringbone or custom laid decorative patterns are things we do all the time.
